Professor Mopelola Omoegun

Board Chairman

Professor Mopelola Omoegun is the current Dean, Faculty of Education of the prestigious University of Lagos. She is a Professor of Guidance and Counseling in Education Psychology. She is an experienced teacher, child psychologist and an accomplished author with over forty years of teaching at various levels of education in Nigeria.

She is a Fellow of the Counselling Association of Nigeria (FCASSON). She also supervises research students working for Masters and PhD degrees in areas related to her teaching and research interest. Her major interest area has always been focus on children and adolescents/teenagers.

Mr. Akinyelure Akinlola


Mr. Akinyelure Akinlola is a graduate of University of Reading, England, where he studied and now holds a B.Sc. in Accounting and Economics. He furthered his career in Cass Business School also in the UK where he bagged a Master's Degree in Energy Trade & Finance.

He is a stakeholder in Pak Oil Trading and POA Investment, an affiliate company of SPA Dredging. The effort of Mr. Akinyelure has been one of the key propelling factors for Asoil Energy, and his position in the organization at the moment has been a success factor that has placed Asoil Energy in the frontier of the Oil & Gas industry. His enviable leadership role as the Managing Director has been as a result of his sound education coupled with great professionalism, social exposure and years of experience in the gas and oil industry.

Alan Ballard


Born in West London, Alan has a strong pre-press and printing experience working at companies in London, Oxford and Wiltshire in the United Kingdom.

Edison Mgbeokwere (Rev.)


Edison Mgbeokwere is Lagos-based Lawyer and a Non-Stipendiary priest of Lagos West Diocese. He is the current Vicar of Anglican Church Agodo in Egbe Archdeaconry. He is married to Mrs. Akwaugo Mgbeokwere and blessed with three Children.

Femi Falana


Femi Falana, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria is a reputable Nigerian lawyer, and renowned human rights activist. He was the former president of the National Association of Democratic Lawyers and he is also a former chairman of the West African Bar Association (WABA). He was a national chairman of the National Conscience Party. Femi Falana (SAN) is famous for providing free legal services to the poor and the disadvantaged.

Mr. Biyi Fashoyin


Biyi fashoyin is a Compere, Pastor, Actor, Poet and Technocrat who started out as a Newscaster with Lagos Television, Ikeja, and later established an Independent IT program, and was elected as the First National president of the Joint Action Committee for ICT Awareness and Development (JACITAD).

He was twice invited by the Senate to contribute to the ICT bill at the senate and was also appointed to the ministerial task force on software.

Mr. Segun Akinyelure


A responsible individual who understands and has the ability to succeed in an extremely competitive environment, whilst consistently striving to achieve high standards of work. An individual with strong work ethic, who is also team-spirited, self-motivated, resourceful, reliable, honest and very committed.

He is a graduate of Economics from University of Leicester, UK, and also attended Imperial College, London. He is a Fellow, Institute of Strategic Human Capital Managers, and Member of the Nigerian Organic Agriculture Network, Member of Apostle of Peace Foundation, equally a member on the board of a few companies which include Bulmershe Investments, Lava Greenland Integrated Ltd, Future Green Ltd, Agro-tech Integrated Services Ltd and Philmartin Ltd, where he doubles as the Managing Director.

As a consultant, he has worked with ESNY Farms Ltd on their organic conversion project and pre-certification audits and advice, and with Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) on their billing system which includes bill generation, address validation system, bill distribution and collection.

Mary-Joan Nwaogu


Mary-Joan Nwaogu is an M.Sc and a PhD holder in Psychology from the University of Lagos. She also has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Administration from the Chartered Institute of Administration, B.Ed. in Elementary Education from the University of Calabar. and N.C.E. (Nigeria Certificate in Education) in Business Education from the University of Ibadan. She equally studied strategic human resource management courses covering Personnel Assessment, Leadership, Performance Measurement, and Manpower Planning.

Dr. Nwaogu is involved in charity work; and is a founding member of the Justice and Peace Commission .She also mentors children and youths of the SOS Children Village, Isolo, Lagos, as well of the Catholic Youths of Nigeria (CYON). As a writer of children's books, Mary-Joan inspires children of both pre- and school age to begin literary and creative works. She loves researching, music and taking up new challenges.

Currently, Mary-Joan is the CEO of Genius Libra Consult, a Research, Publishing, Educational and Organizational consulting Outfit committed to the service of helping individuals achieve their optimum potentials. She is married with children.
