THESE TWO DECADES
Hurray, as we celebrate twenty years of Queensland Academy. This citadel of learning established two decades ago has produced success stories of who experienced a metamorphosis as they passed through the Queensland system. Turbo- charged by the vision and drives to achieve our mission of education leading to a life of dignity and distinction in conformity with the world class standard and value which we offer; we bridge every gap to ensure promptness in service delivery.
This all-round education caters for all people irrespective of sex, religion, tribe and nationality. The lower school comprises of a care centre (crèche), Nursery and Primary school. And most recently, she has added the Eliakim child care unit for children with special needs and learning difficulties – a resource of an organisation devoted to early intervention and service for individuals with therapeutic developmental bottlenecks, mental challenges and learning difficulties.
Of course, we engage the services of the best professionals who prepare our children for future challenges. Hence we run a Nigerian/British curriculum; with facilities which include a well-equipped ICT laboratory powered by New Horizon Nigeria Limited, well-stocked Library, music room, home economics laboratory, standby generator and air conditioned classrooms.
We promote high academic and moral values and by this collaborate with our parents who are stakeholders and partners in the achievement / actualisation of these lofty ideals/goals.
I congratulate our graduating pupils and wish them all the best in life as they set out on the next stage of their academic endeavour.
Many tanks to our wonderful and supportive parents who hold their own in the face of many challenges economic and otherwise our ever devoted teachers for another successful academic session, lovely children of Queensland and ever resourceful Board of Governors . You are all appreciated.
And as you surf through the School’s website pages, I wish you all a wonderful time
